Application Procedures

Step 1: Create Account

• Login  https://app.eapp.gov.hk/
• Click “Create Account”
• Confirm the eligibility and read Important Notes
• Fill in personal particulars
• Verify the account

If applicants cannot create the account online, please submit the eform for the Manual Account Creation.

Step 2: Fill in Personal Information

• School examination result
• Other Experiences and Achievements in Competitions / Activities (OEA) (if any)
• Student Learning Profile (if any)
• Previous public examination results (if any)
• User Preference

Step 3: Submit Programme Application

• Select Programmes at the “Programme(s)” page
• Set programme choices (by institutions)
• Submit application
• Receive confirmation emails from E-APP
• Pay application fee

Step 4: Check for Latest Application Status

• Applicants will be timely informed of the latest application status (such as interview arrangement (if any) and issuance of conditional offers) by the institution via email or SMS.

Step 5: Claim Offer and Pay Enrolment Deposit / Registration Fee (if applicable)

• On the date of HKDSE result announcement, E-APP will pass the HKDSE exam results directly to the institutions applicants have applied for. Applicants need not to submit the results to E-APP or the institutions.
• If the HKDSE result meets the conditions as stipulated on the notice of conditional offer and applicants plan to confirm their studies, please follow the procedures provided by the institutions to claim offer and pay enrolment deposit / registration fee.
